Admissions, and some hours, have recently changed at Tacoma’s three major museums. Changes are as follows:
MUSEUM OF GLASS: From Jan. 7 admission will be $15 adults; $12 seniors, students, military and AAA; $5 ages 6-12; free for 5 and younger and 5-8 p.m. third Thursdays. Other free admissions include members, library pass holders, college students with ID every Sunday. Hours are still 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. TACOMA ART MUSEUM: New admissions are $14 adults; $12 senior, student and military; $35 family; and free for 5 and younger and 5-8 p.m. third Thursdays. New hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. third Thursdays. More information: 253-272-4258, tacomaartmuseum.org.
WASHINGTON STATE HISTORY MUSEUM: New admissions are $11 adults; $8 senior, student and military; and free for 5 and younger and 2-8 p.m. third Thursdays. AAA members get 15 percent discount on four adult admissions per membership (excludes Model Train Festival). Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. third Thursdays.
