Tacoma Refugee Choir kicks of musical series Tuesday. Here’s where you can sing along

Tacoma Refugee Choir begins its annual “Park Sings” series at the Salishan Family Investment Center, 1724 E. 44th St., on Tuesday, May 10.

Karaoke begins at 6 p.m. with the choir leading songs and activities starting at 7 p.m. More karaoke will follow.

“Additionally, we will debut the new 10-foot ‘Heart of Tacoma’ mobile sculpture which we hope will spark conversations around how love and service can help us heal as a community,” according to a news release.

The series continues on:

May 17: 6-8:30 p.m., Franklin Park, 1201 S. Puget Sound Ave.

May 24, 6-8:30 p.m., STAR Center, 3873 S. 66th St.

May 31st, 6-8:30 p.m., Wapato Park, main picnic area, 6500 S. Sheridan Ave.

In the event of rain, the events will be held at 710 S. Anderson St.
