Hunting Film Tour comes to Tacoma on Aug. 7

To add to the growing excitement over the upcoming hunting seasons here in Washington, the Hunting Film Tour is coming to the South Sound.

The tour films will be shown Aug. 7 from 7-9 p.m. at the Landmark Convention Center, 47 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma.

The eight-10 films on the tour tell stories and share the excitement of archery, muzzleloader and modern firearm hunts for big game, as well as wingshooting, waterfowling and international hunts. The films use a conservation, fair-chase approach in depicting hunting, tour organizers said in a news release.

The tour is produced by the same people who created the Fly Fishing Film Tour that makes stops in the Puget Sound region. WebEye Group and G2 Adventure Entertainment are also producing this year’s hunting film tour.

Tickets are $15 and are available at huntingfilmtour.com. Discounted tickets, costing $12, are available at the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Puyallup and Federal Way.

A show has tentatively been scheduled for the Lacey Community Center, but a date has not yet been set.
