Two downtown Tacoma businesses are now open for business - a second outpost for Tacoma’s Infinite Soups and Tacoma’s newest brewery, Odd Otter Brewing Co.
The niche business serving soup — and only soup — has opened another location. Infinite Soups Downtown is in its third week of business inside the historic post office building at 12th and A streets. Watch for the soup serving window facing 12th. The soup shop is owned by Wendy Clapp; her husband, Todd DeShazo; and Clapp's daughter Laura Adams.
They sprouted the business from a cafe inside the News Tribune’s building, then began selling soup at the Tacoma Broadway Farmers Market before opening their first soup counter in 2007 at 445 Tacoma Ave. S., where they still operate.
