The burger layers kobe beef and ground ribeye steak with tempura battered, fried havarti (take that, arteries!), sizzled bacon and a caramelized onion mayo. Served on a kaiser bun, the burger is dressed with arugula, tomato and red onion. The burger will be served with fries for $9.95. Find more info here.
Bates instructors JJ Meland and Roger Knapp competed alongside student Tony Brooks at the competition. They were ranked fourth of 50 contestants and have been invited back to compete in the 2015 competition, which will be held in Florida.
