SATURDAYLemonade for cancer treatment at the Proctor Market SaturdayClassmates of a Tacoma student are selling lemonade Saturday to raise money for her medical treatment. Here’s a note from her teacher Megan Gibson, “I am a 3rd grade teacher in Tacoma at Wa-Hoyt Elementary and had a student this last year who was diagnosed last week with a very rare fast growing tumor behind her right eye. ... In short, the community has rallied together to have a couple of fundraisers to help with all the costs.” Her classmates and teachers will sell lemonade to raise money for the student's treatment from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday July 28.
