CITRON EUROPEAN BISTRO NOW OPEN
Citron European Bistro has opened in Parkland. The restaurant replaces another across-the-pond-themed favorite, Bruno’s European Restaurant, which moved to Lakewood in November.
The bistro is in the semi-hidden building at 10716 A St. S., which is near the intersection of Pacific Avenue South and 108th Street South.
The owner is chef Christophe Durliat, who told me earlier this month that his restaurant would serve lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday with a menu featuring French cuisine, but also broader European territory with German and Swiss dishes planned. This is Durliat’s first restaurant, but he has a long history in fine dining for large corporate hotels, including stints in Guam and Malaysia for Hilton hotels and resorts. He also was a chef at downtown Tacoma French restaurant Aviateur after it opened in 2014.
