Put in a platform for concerts on the waterfront
We enjoyed the Beatniks concert on the waterfront. Our chairs were in place by 8 a.m. for the 6:30 p.m. event. It was disappointing, however, that we couldn’t see the band due to the people dancing. Please! They need a platform to stand on!
Can’t vote for someone who opposed earlier school bond
I, however, can not imagine voting for Randy because he was instrumental in killing the school bond for the Peninsula School District the last three times it has run.
Gig Harbor has grown in population by 37 percent since 2010. Does it surprise anyone that we need additional school buildings for this burgeoning population growth?
Packed campuses mean more stress for students and teachers. Additional population means classes are housed in portables and that the school environments are stuffed with inadequate space for assemblies, visits to the library, space at recess, lunch room inadequacies, as well as scheduling nightmares for administrators.
I can’t imagine voting for a state representative who does not support our schools. Great communities have great schools and a representative for the 26th District in Olympia should support Peninsula Schools.
