Rusty George Creative in Tacoma, has added the following new staff members.
• Matt Elbon joins the firm as a designer responsible for agency and client branding and presentations. He has a design degree from Seattle Central College and Western Iowa Tech. Elbon has worked as a design for seven years at Seattle advertising agencies, Zoompop, Oracle and Wunderman.
• Julie Burr was recently hired as a strategist for the company and will partner with clients to develop strategic foundations. She has a degree in advertising from College of DuPage, Wheaton, Ill. Burr was executive account director at various Phoenix-based agencies.
• Sheri Bolding has been promoted to interim manager at Brew It 4 U Coffee Shop in Parkland. She has worked at the shop for nine years, as well as working as a nonprofit events and fundraising coordinator for the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra. Bolding has a bachelor’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
• Tim Kuykendall has been named athletic director at Life Christian Academy in Tacoma. He will lead the school’s athletic program at all levels grades K-12. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Washington State University and was a coach at the high school level for 16 years.
