The BMW X3 is Even Cheaper to Lease This June
The 2026 BMW X3 in a Nutshell
Since 2023, the X3 has been BMW's best-selling product worldwide, and in the U.S, it has been the top-seller since 2018. Not bad at all for a model that had a relatively lukewarm reception from reviewers over 20 years ago. Yes, the X3 has been around that long.
Now in its fourth generation, the X3 continues to rake in cash for BMW, and the redesign in for 2025 did nothing to slow down sales. If anything, sales still keep climbing, although it's not that far ahead of its bigger and more expensive stablemate, the X5. As it's still fresh off a full model change, there are no changes to report for the 2026 model year.
2026 BMW X3 Lease Deals for June
Great news, as BMW's most popular model has more affordable lease deals this June. The monthly payments have been made lower and more accessible compared to the previous offers. This month, the X3 30 xDrive can be leased for $569 for 39 months with $5,299 due at signing.
However, for those who prefer the more potent M50, the rates are the same as last month and still go for $789 for 39 months with $5,689 due at signing. As always, well-qualified applicants can avail of a $1,000 loyalty credit to further reduce monthly payments. Mileage is limited to 32,500 throughout the leasing period, and $0.25 is charged for each mile exceeded. These offers are valid until June 30, 2026.
2026 BMW X3 Highlights
Unlike the rest of the world, the X3 lineup is as simple as it gets, with just two to choose from. The 30 xDrive starts at $51,300, while the M50 carries a base price of $66,500, though options can quickly raise those prices if one gets carried away. BMW did add the digital key as standard for 2026, but otherwise, it's carried over from 2025.
Two key option packages are worth mentioning for the X3. The first is the convenience package that includes a heated steering wheel, remote start, and the Travel and Comfort System. This package also includes a panoramic sunroof, though you can skip it. The second is the Premium Package, which includes an interior camera, head-up display, 3D surround-view cameras, Parking Assistant Plus, Driving Assistant Plus, and all the other features from the Convenience Package.
The 30 xDrive models are powered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine producing 251 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. For those who still prefer six cylinders in their BMW, the M50 packs a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six producing 393 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard for both models.
Final Thoughts
It's sad that the U.S missed out on the current (and soon, outgoing) generation of 3 Series Touring. Still, the X3 does a stellar job of delivering a dynamic and comfortable driving experience wrapped in a relatively compact and practical package. In all honesty, the 30 xDrive is more than enough for most use cases, but the extra grunt from the M50 is always welcome. Choose either one, and you'll still end up with a hugely capable crossover.
