The Henry — Tacoma’s latest entry into the luxury apartment market — will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday at 1933 Dock St.

The 161-unit complex, located beside the Museum of Glass on the Thea Foss Waterway, began accepting residents in September and is now 22 percent occupied, property manager Ashley Ellsworth said Tuesday.

The grand opening, complete with big scissors to cut a ribbon, will begin at noon and run through 1:30 p.m., Ellsworth said.

Rents at the complex run from $1,250 to $1,300 for a studio unit to $2,995 monthly for a top-line, two-bedroom, two-bath plus den apartment.

Amenities include stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, balconies and quartz countertops in addition to access to a rooftop dog run, community room, fitness center and a dog-washing facility.

The opening ceremony is open to the public.
