Commencement Bank hires Darin Johnson from Heritage Bank as CFO
Tacoma-based Commencement Bank announced Monday that Darin Johnson has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Most recently a senior vice president and controller at Olympia’s Heritage Bank, Johnson counts over 18 years of banking experience. Before joining Heritage, Johnson served at Whidbey Island Bank, during which time he earned a graduate degree from Pacific Coast Banking School, according to a Commencement Bank release.
H.R. “Hal” Russell, Commencement president and chief executive officer, stated, “Darin brings with him the ability to challenge our current processes which will strengthen our organization.”
