Wenzel Wu has joined Novinium in Kent as a senior design engineer to work with the engineering team on new product development and design in the field of electrical cable rejuvenation.

He holds doctorates in materials science engineering and electronic ceramics as well as a doctorate in mechanical engineering with a focus on casting and abrasive wear-resistant materials. Wenzel has worked most recently as a mechanical engineer at Creative Motion Control Inc. as well as Microsoft.

▪  Moira Davin has joined the Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater Visitor & Convention Bureau as communications director. She will work overseeing communication and public relations strategies designed to inspire, inform and influence travel to Thurston County.

She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Western Washington University and is a native of Thurston County. Davin has more than five years’ experience in destination marketing, most recently as an adviser at JayRay in Tacoma. Before that she was with Travel Tacoma and Pierce County.
