Mark Minickiello has been named vice president of community development for Harborstone Credit Union in Lakewood. He will oversee the organization’s work with corporate contributions, sponsorships and staff volunteerism, and small-business microlending. He will work to expand products and services for people of low and moderate income through resources made possible by Harborstone’s recent designations as a Community Development Financial Institution by the U.S. Treasury Department and its Low Income Designation by the National Credit Union Administration.

Minickiello most recently worked as vice president of legislative affairs for the Northwest Credit Union Association and has specific expertise in financial literacy, education and working with small businesses.

▪  Jeffrey Reece is the vice president of sales and marketing for Burkhart Dental Supply in Tacoma. He is responsible for marketing vision, strategy, direction and execution. He oversees the operational direction and performance of Burkhart’s 10 regional divisions in 19 locations. Reece been in the dental industry for 17 years and started as a branch manager at Burkhart Dental in its Portland branch in 1999.

▪  Danius Silkaitis has been named engineering project manager at Novinium in Kent. He will run engineering projects, including development, implementation and launch of key products such as PreVent. Silkaitis has several years of experience in the medical and electrical device industries, and holds a degree in engineering from the University of Michigan.

▪  Donna Miller has been named director of career connections at Pacific Lutheran University. She will lead career development, student employment and internships initiatives. Miller received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and juris doctorate at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago. She has more than 20 years experience in law and educational institutions.

▪  The Rotary Club of Tacoma No. 8 has announced officers for the 2016-2017 Rotary Year: Becky Fontaine, president; Mark Anderson, president-elect; Barry Benson, immediate past president; Jim Henderson, secretary; Jeremy Fogelquist, treasurer, and Kathi Willis, club administrator.
