Low-income seniors can get free gifts for their grandchildren Sunday in Tacoma
Low-income seniors or others who might have difficulty shopping for their grandchildren are invited to an event Sunday in Tacoma.
“Senior Shopping Day” will run 1-4 p.m. at Jazzbones, 2803 6th Ave. Volunteers will be on hand to help seniors pick out and wrap gifts.
There also will be music, snacks and hot cocoa.
The free event is sponsored by Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers, Charlie’s Dinosaur and the Korum for Kids Foundation.
