4 Scouts from University Place honored for STEM excellence

Four members of Cub Scout Pack 148 from University Place have achieved the Supernova Award in the Boy Scouts of America STEM/NOVA program. It recognizes Scouts for excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The Scouts who achieved the honor are Bobby Hay and Conner Frans, Drum Intermediate School; John Nunes, Narrows View Intermediate School; and P.J. Stead, Downing Elementary School.
