A cement truck flipped on its side on the 74th Street ramp to I-5 south about 10 a.m Thursday. The driver was taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
“I thought he was going to come through the jersey barrier and fall down on top of the highway,” said Sean Williams, a witness to the accident. “Quite frankly, I’m surprised he’s (the driver) alive the way the cab came down on the jersey barrier. It scared me to death.”
The drivers condition is unknown at this time.
The ramp was closed as crews worked to right the truck and there were no significant traffic tie ups.

State Patrol trooper Guy Gill said the crash caused only minor injuries.
