The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.
Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.
All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Description: 6 feet 3 and 207 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 1000 block of South Sprague Avenue, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 1994 of first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree robbery in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl with five other men. Also convicted in 2009, 2010 and 2012 in Pierce County for failing to register as a sex offender.
Sex offender treatment: Participated in but did not complete a treatment program while incarcerated.

Robert E. Dixon
Description: 5 feet 11 and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 2000 block of East Morton Street, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2004 of first-degree child molestation in Pierce County for assaulting a 7-year-old girl while visiting the child’s babysitter.
Sex offender treatment: Participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Keith A. Hatton
Description: 6 feet 1 and 220 pounds, bald with brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 12000 block of Gravelly Lake Drive Southwest, Lakewood.
Criminal history: Convicted in 1986 for first-degree criminal sexual misconduct and in 1997 of first-degree rape in Pierce County for sexually assaulting a woman at knifepoint. Convicted in 2011 of failure to register as a sex offender in Pierce County.
Sex offender treatment: Did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.
