A fire gutted an RV repair shop in Lakewood late Tuesday.
West Pierce firefighters were called about 11:15 p.m. to Lentz’s RV Repair at 3624 96th St. SW and found heavy smoke coming from the building.
Crews entered the shop but the heat of the flames and unsafe conditions forced them outside, Battalion Chief Hallie McCurdy said.
Moments after firefighters left the shop flames shot through the roof and the roof caved in.
