People who’d like to purchase a souvenir from the U.S. Open golf championship’s visit to Chambers Bay but don’t have a ticket to the actual tournament can visit the main Merchandise Pavilion for four days beginning Thursday.
A variety of merchandise will be available for purchase in the 41,000-square-foot pavilion, including clothing, golf balls, lapel pins, towels and ball markers.
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to the pavilion from the New Tacoma Cemetery, 9212 Chambers Creek Road W. in University Place. Parking will be free.
The pavilion will be open to the public 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The golf course itself will be off limits.
Access to the pavilion beginning Monday will be available only to those people with tickets to the championship, which runs until June 21.
