Missing Shelton-area woman has been found

A 39-year-old missing woman from the Shelton area has been found, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday.

Lori Leasure, 39, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, went missing about two weeks ago. Officials were worried that she was not taking her medication and may need assistance.

Detective William Adam of the Sheriff’s Office issued a news release Sunday afternoon stating: “Lori Leasure has been found and is now in a mental health assistance facility in the Olympia area. Thank you all for your assistance.”

No other details were furnished.
