Akbar Chisti, owner of Beaverton, Oregon-based Seamus Golf, says the Pendleton wool blanket is “great to throw down and sit and watch the golf tournament.”
Chisti’s three-year-old company partnered with Pendleton Woolen Mills (152 years old) to customize the blankets for the U.S. Open. The blankets are made with 100 percent virgin wool from Washington and Oregon sheep. A set of club head covers made of the same material costs $79.
