Tacoma’s Portland Avenue shut down Tuesday evening for serious injury vehicle crash
A vehicle collision on Portland Avenue has shut down all lanes of the arterial between East 48th and East 51st streets early Tuesday evening, the Tacoma Police Department tweeted.
The single-vehicle crash has resulted in at least one person sustaining a serious injury, police said. The department’s collision investigation team is responding.
The vehicle, with two occupants, rolled over during the crash, Tacoma Police spokesperson Wendy Haddow said. Both occupants were ejected, she said. One was transported to a local hospital.
