The Soundview Trail, Central Meadow and the dog park at Chambers Creek Regional Park will be closed for six days this month.

The three sections of the park in University Place will be closed Aug. 9-14 while Tacoma Arts Live events take place Aug. 11-13.

Increased traffic and limited parking in the surrounding area are expected during a Tacoma Arts Live three-day Sound & Sky event that will feature two concerts and a beer festival, according to a Pierce County press release.
