A Puyallup man, suspected of driving under the influence, was seriously injured in a crash overnight Sunday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

About 1:50 a.m., the 22-year-old driver was headed west on state Route 164 at 180th Street, which is east of Lake Tapps, in King County. SR 164 runs between Enumclaw and Auburn.

Troopers say that near the intersection the Puyallup man drove off the road to the left and rolled over, the vehicle finally coming to a rest on its top.

The man was injured and flown to Haborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to the State Patrol.
