The investigation into a three-victim shooting has been slowed because one of the victims can’t talk while the two others have been uncooperative, a Tacoma police spokesman said Sunday.

About 2:20 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to an area hospital after three men showed up in a private vehicle with gunshot wounds. One man’s injuries are considered life-threatening, William Muse said.

As for the two other men, it wasn’t immediately clear if they were still at the hospital or had been released. Ages were not being disclosed, Muse said.

Police think the shooting took place in south Tacoma or Pierce County, he said. Tacoma police became involved because the victims were taken to a hospital in the city, Muse said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the non-emergency line at South Sound 911 at 253-287-4455 or Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
