South Puget Sound named the ‘luckiest region’ in WA with most lottery wins over $1,000
You might be tempted to play the Mega Millions lottery after hearing that the jackpot is now up to $815 million. But is there a science to choosing the winning numbers or are there any factors such as the place you purchase your ticket from or the city that you are in?
If location has anything to do with hitting the lottery and you live in the South Sound area, you’ll be happy to know that Washington’s lottery crowned the area the “Luckiest Region” in the state for the sixth year in a row.
The “luckiest retailers of 2023” in the South Puget Sound area was released by Washington Lottery this week, showing which locations brought the biggest wins. According to the press release, the South Puget Sound is home to the top 10 retailers that have a total of 139 wins of $1,000 or more, including the Luckiest Retailer in the state.
