A teenage driver hit two motorcyclists early Saturday morning in Tacoma, authorities reported.

First responders transported the two motorcyclists to Tacoma General Hospital. They are both from Olympia. One is 23 years old and the other is 44. Both wore helmets.

Around 1 a.m. Saturday, the teen drove a car south in both northbound lanes of Interstate 705 at Schuster Parkway. The motorcyclists were traveling north on I-705 in one of the lanes.
