Update: Missing 16-year-old boy found safe after going missing, police say

12:50 p.m. update: Poevia has been found safe, Tacoma police said on X.

Original post: Tacoma police are searching for a missing teenager who left his home early Tuesday morning.

Sebastian Poevia, 16, left his home on South 84th Street at 6:30 a.m. He is non-verbal and unable to return home without assistance, according to Washington State Patrol’s Endangered Missing Person alert.

Polevia is 5 feet 10 and 200 pounds with a mental age of a 5 year old, according to the Tacoma Police Department. He was last seen wearing a sarong/wrap and possibly blue pajama pants without a shirt.

He has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who sees Polevia is asked to call 911.
