This on/off ramp near Port of Tacoma to close for maintenance soon, city announces

The South Frontage Road on- and off-ramp near Port of Tacoma Road will close for maintenance next week.

The ramp will shut down from 7 a.m. on Oct. 25 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 26, according to the City of Tacoma.

Maintenance crews will remove and replace asphalt on both lanes of the South Frontage ramp, the city said. Drivers will need to use alternate routes to access state Route 509 northbound and Port of Tacoma Road.
