Gig Harbor-based Rush Development is now leasing the second phase of a multi-building apartment project in Port Orchard that also includes rent-restricted units.

Pottery Creek Apartments, 2000 SE Sedgwick Road just off state Route 16 in Port Orchard, includes 330 units across 15, 3-story buildings.

The site is next to Fred Meyer in the Kitsap County city north of Purdy and Gig Harbor.

Units range from studios at 471 square feet to 1,161 square feet for three-bedroom/two-bath units. Rents start at $1,053 for a studio to $2,795 for a three-bedroom unit, according to online listings.

The complex includes a clubhouse, cardio and weight-training studio, and a “party room” with a full kitchen for events. The site is managed by Edison47 property team of Gig Harbor.

According to Pottery Creek’s website, it is participating in Port Orchard’s Multifamily Tax Exemption program, setting aside 20% of the units as income- and rent-restricted.

The website states that to qualify, “total household income must be below 40% of the area median income for Studios, 65% median income for 1 Bedrooms, and 75% median income for 2 Bedrooms.”

The rent-restricted units are only offered in Phase 2.
