A crash at a Tacoma intersection has left one man dead.

Officers were dispatched at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday to Pearl Street and North 30th Street after a passerby reported a crash between a motorcycle and vehicle. The motorcyclist died at the scene, Tacoma Police Department spokeswoman officer Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune.

Boyd said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. The vehicle’s driver did not have life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

The Tacoma Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
