One person dead after car crashes into house early Friday in Tacoma, police say

Tacoma Police Department officers responded to the two-car crash in the early morning of April 11, 2025 in the 3800 block of Alaska Street. 

A crash between two vehicles in Tacoma early Friday morning left one person dead.

Officers were dispatched at 5:17 a.m. to the 3800 block of Alaska Street for the crash. After the initial crash, one of the vehicles reportedly struck a house at 38th and Asotin Street, Tacoma Police Department spokesperson officer Shelbie Boyd told The News Tribune.

One person died and another person was taken to a local hospital. It is unknown what their condition is.
