Initial post:

Tacoma Police are investigating a possible shooting in the Hilltop neighborhood Saturday afternoon, according to police spokesperson Shelbie Boyd.

The call came in at about 1:22 p.m. regarding an incident in the 2300 block of South Cushman Avenue, Boyd said.

“There was some type of two-vehicle collision, an argument and then possible shots fired,” she said. “No injuries at this time, nobody in custody at this time, and that’s as far as we got.”

She said Tacoma Police are leading the investigation and are on scene. The police sergeant was about to begin interviewing people when she spoke with The News Tribune at about 1:45 p.m. and she didn’t have further information about a possible suspect or suspects.
