Pedestrian found dead near Spanaway Saturday morning, state patrol says
A pedestrian was found dead late Friday night on State Route 7 south of Spanaway, according to police.
Around midnight on Oct. 11, Washington State Patrol troopers responded to an unresponsive person in the street, where State Route 7 intersects with B Street, near a 76 gas station and a storage facility.
Bystanders had attempted lifesaving measures prior to the arrival of state troopers, said Kameron Watts, spokesperson for the agency in District 1.
Troopers are investigating the cause of death.
No further information about the incident was known Saturday morning.
