Fire breaks out at Pierce County house. Neighbor alerts sleeping resident
West Pierce Fire & Rescue responded to a house fire near Moreland Avenue and Alameda Avenue around 12:40 p.m. Monday.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to West Pierce Fire & Rescue on X.
A person inside the house was sleeping when a neighbor saw smoke coming from the house, ran over and woke them up, the post said. The majority of damage is to the home’s exterior.
