An Enumclaw woman who died after a large tree fell and struck her vehicle last week has been identified as Janeil Puckett, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Puckett, 58, died from blunt-force injury to the head on Nov. 4 on State Route 410. Her manner of death was listed as an accident, the office wrote in a news release.

She was driving her 2014 Subaru on eastbound state Route 410 west of Crystal River Ranch when the tree struck her car. Her vehicle continued for about 50-feet before stopping on the right shoulder, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo.

Puckett died at the scene. She was the only person in the vehicle.
