Gambler turns $2 bet into ‘massive’ jackpot near Tacoma. ‘The excitement is real’
A lucky gambler sat down at a slot machine near Tacoma and walked away with a “massive” jackpot win, casino officials said.
The gambler won $61,112 “on a single spin” on a Monkey in the Bank slot machine at Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn, casino officials wrote in a Facebook post on Friday, Dec. 12.
The bet was $2, a casino official confirmed in an email to The News Tribune.
“The excitement is real, and the jackpots keep coming,” casino officials wrote on Facebook.
Auburn is about a 20-minute drive northeast from Tacoma.
