A man who died after his car plunged into a Northeast Tacoma gulch was 54-year-old James Langston, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said Sunday.
Langston’s vehicle left Norpoint Way Northeast about 6:15 p.m. Friday and went about 150 feet down the embankment at Julia’s Gulch, which overlooks Commencement Bay.
No other cars were involved.
Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said Sunday it wasn’t clear what caused the wreck.
