GET OUT: Holiday bazaars and volunteer sewing work for charity

Local bazaars

▪ 40th annual Northwood Holiday Boutique. A PTA fundraiser features vendors and live musical performances. Entry is $2 at the door. Kids 12 and younger are free. 9 a.m. Saturday. Northwood Elementary School, 9805 24th St. E., Edgewood.

▪ Enumclaw Danish Sisterhood Holiday Bazaar features a traditional Danish lunch, white elephant, raffle, handmade items and bake sale. 11 a.m. Saturday. Danish Hall, 1708 Porter St., Enumclaw. Free admission.

▪ St. Ann Church Bazaar features more than 30 craft vendors selling all handmade items for Christmas and gift giving. A variety of items will be raffled. 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. St. Ann Church, 7025 S. Park Ave., Tacoma. Free admission, 253-472-2285.

Sewing for charity

A Creative Community Creation to Donation. Sewers of all skill levels are invited to give back to our community. Work alongside volunteer instructors to create simple and useful items to donate to a South Sound charity. All supplies and equipment provided. Limit 20 per session.
