3 injured in Kent apartment fire
Three people suffered smoke inhalation Thursday during an apartment fire in Kent after two men rushed inside to save a resident suspecting of starting the blaze, according to the Regional Fire Authority.
Firefighters were called about 8 a.m. to a complex in the 24800 block of 45th Avenue South and found a single unit on the third floor with heavy smoke and flames.
The fire was upgraded to bring in more firefighters.
Crews were able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the one apartment. There are 12 in the complex. No one else was injured.
