Bus hits, injures man in Kent
A King County Metro bus struck a pedestrian Tuesday afternoon in Kent.
The collision occurred around 1:40 p.m. Kent police say the pedestrian is a 38-year-old homeless man from Florida.
Police say the man may have fallen off the sidewalk into the street. An estimated 12 passengers were on the Route 164 bus at the time of the collision.
Metro officials say the bus was traveling northbound on 104th Avenue Southeast near Southeast 253rd Place.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries.
