A man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide after a single-car rollover crash on Kent-Black Diamond Road Southeast late Monday killed his passenger, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called about 7:48 p.m. to the 31800 block of Kent-Black Diamond Road Southeast, where they saw the vehicle had rolled over at least once before striking a tree, Sgt. Cindi West said.
The passenger died at the scene, West said.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide for the likely alcohol-related crash, West said.
The accident, which happened on a straight stretch of road, is under investigation.
“They obviously ended up off the road, but we don’t know how yet,” West said.
