Community celebrates 37th edition of Fish Bowl

Thousands of high school football fans roll out their barbecues, coolers and trays of goodies for the annual Fish Bowl rivalry football game between Peninsula and Gig Harbor high schools.

The pregame festivities offers families and friends a chance to get together and swap stories before kickoff.

Here is a taste of some of Friday’s tailgate action prior to this year’s 37th installment of the big game, which Gig Harbor went on to win, 40-14.
