Singer-songwriter Terry Holder will perform Saturday (Nov. 14) as part of the Olalla House Community Club Concerts at the Olalla Community Hall.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a potluck dinner, open to anyone willing to bring a dish to share.
The performance begins at 7 p.m. A donation of $15 to $20 is suggested.
Holder is an Olympia-based musician who started writing music in 1999 when her youngest child left home. She has since released four studio albums, won the 2013 Wildflower Songwriting Competition in Richardson, Texas and is a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and four-time finalist in the Kerville Folk Festival.
According to event producer Nolan Pepperdine, Holder’s live performances are even better than her studio recordings.
“She has a voice that will just break your heart, and in her live shows she has an amazing ability to charm and connect with her audience,” Pepperdine said in a release.
Holder will be joined by her husband, Jerry, for the Olalla House concert.
The next show in the Olalla House concert series is a free holiday show set for Dec. 5 featuring the Sweet Adelines and Tim Bertsch.
The Olalla Community hall is located at 12970 Olalla Valley Road.
