Pierce County Council to host in-district meeting in Vaughn

The Pierce County Council will host an in-district council meeting in District 7 at 6 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 1) at Key Peninsula Civic Center Gymnasium, 17010 South Vaughn Road KPN in Vaughn.

Councilmember Derek Young will chair the in-district meeting.

Each member of the Pierce County Council holds at least one in-district meeting per year in order to ensure meetings are more accessible to residents of Pierce County. Community leaders from the Key Peninsula have been invited to present to the Council on various topics which include law enforcement, parks and elder care. The public is invited to come and address the County Council on any item not on the agenda during citizens’ forum.
