This year marks the introduction of the first annual SolFest music festival, held in Gig Harbor at the Harbor History Museum.
SolFest kicks off at 2 p.m. June 13 and will run until 10 p.m. During those hours, the following bands will take the stage: Heads out the Window (Psych Pop), Rokkerbox (Classic Rock), Mystery Machines (Speed Punk), Hollers (Seattle Indy), Fab3 (Beatle Mania), Alejandro Fleites (Cuban), Jessica Lynne (Country) and The Blues Redemption (Blues).
In addition to these local musicians, various community businesses and organizations will be in attendance to promote the Gig Harbor community, and there will also be an area with fun activities for the whole family.
There will be alcohol available for purchase from Heritage Distilling and 7 Seas in designated areas, as well as food from JW’s, the Thai Hut and the Gourmet Burger Shop.
There are two different ticket packages for the event.
The cost is $20 for individuals who purchase before June 13, and $25 for those who purchase the day of the event. Families (two adults and four children) are $35 ahead of time or $45 day of. Ticket price includes admission to the Harbor History Museum.
