Nativity scene

In early December I was driving someone new to our country and new to our community around Gig Harbor. The Christmas tree at Skansie Brothers Park was up but the tree lighting had not happened.

I explained to her that in the past there had been controversy about a nativity scene on public property. It was with delight that I was able to observe a Christmas nativity scene has been put up under the Christmas tree. This is yet another reason to be proud of Gig Harbor!

I would like to give a cheer to U.S. Representative Derek Kilmer’s wonderful commentary about why he voted to impeach Trump! Derek Kilmer is a wonderful representative in our state and I wanted to go on record of thanking him for his courage to do the right thing for our country!
