Cheers to a wonderful business in Gig Harbor. We received a huge rock strike on our windshield of our new car. We went directly to the dealer, who recommended Speedy Glass. I called ahead, arrived there an hour later, and they were absolutely wonderful and fixed our rock chip and we were on our way in 30 minutes. Thank You, Speedy Glass for serving Gig Harbor.
Cheers to Integrated Financial for your gift to the Food Backpacks 4 Kids program. We are touched by your generous support of our kids!
Cheers to Liz Litsch, the Peninsula High School dive coach, and to her divers who took second, sixth and 15th at the state meet. Nicely done!
Jeers to the construction of a fence that has terminated all sidewalk access from McDonald Ave. through to Kimball Dr., not only for traffic, but for pedestrians and bicycles. The fence cuts directly across the sidewalk through the property from Kimball, terminating pedestrian access, with the only alternative being the driveway through Best Western, where there is no sidewalk. Elderly and disabled people like to walk in this area, and their safety is compromised by the erection of this fence.
Cheers to all the wonderful people that participated at the Gig Harbor Health & Safety Expo that was hosted by Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One. Free health screening and information is a valuable tool and is much appreciated! Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Cheers to Dr. James Patterson upon his retirement after 35 years of demonstrating compassionate caring for his patients. Peninsula Family Medical and Dr. Patterson truly have a family emphasis with all patients and staff included.
