West Narrows soccer teams show well at recent tournaments

The West Narrows Soccer Club had several teams finish in the top two places at recent tournaments. The club fields 10 teams, both boys and girls, from 11U to 19U, drawing from mainly Gig Harbor, out to the Port Orchard area. The club plays competitively about 10 months out of the year in the Puget Sound Premiere League.

The club started in 2011 with one team and has blossomed since. West Narrows is hosting a summer camp Aug. 15 to 18 at the Peninsula High School grass field. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. The age groups are 9- to 11-year-old boys and girls, and 12- to 14-year-old boys and girls.
